London, May 29 (IANS) "Lord of the Rings" star Liv Tyler wants to raise her son Milo away from New York and live in the country.

Tyler, who earlier wanted to leave the city because she wants to avoid the paparazzi, now wants to move to the countryside for her son Milo's sake, contactmusic.com reports.

She said: "I'd love for him (Milo) to have pets and chickens to take care of. And I want to give him all the tools to be the best man he can be. For me, so much of that has to do with being in nature and really using your hands when you're a kid."

Tyler just split with Milo's father Royston Langdon and wants her son to have a better childhood than she had. She did not know that her real father was Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler till she was 12 years old.

She added: "I'm still working through my issues, which I always will be."
