Radcliffe snubs university for acting

London, July 12 (IANS) Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe won't be following his co-star Emma Watson from the wizard franchise to university as he insists he gets enough education from acting.


Watson is making a move to the US this autumn to pursue a degree in liberal arts, but 19-year-old Radcliffe has passed up the chance to attend college for now insisting his acting coaches give him all the education he needs, reports imdb.com.


"I want to keep working for as long as possible, just acting ideally. I'm also trying to continue my education as much as I can with an English tutor who comes on set... I've got quite a freakish memory," he said.


"I'd like to think I'm a good student - not as good as Emma, she's got all these fantastic grades. But I'd like to think I can hold my own with most people," he added.


The two actors have till date furthered their education on film sets with private tutors since shooting to fame with the series in 2001. Click the Movie button below for more info:
