'Sex and the City' book tells different story: Jessica Parker

London, May 7 (IANS) A book based on the movie "Sex and the City" is out and the lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker claims that it will surprise fans because it features characters and plot lines that were edited from the film.


Parker said the companion book to the film was completed while writer-director Michael Patrick King was still editing the movie - and he cut out items and people that will appear in the published book, contactmusic.com reports.


She said: "Whole characters were cut out. I'll tell you a little secret, there's this book that we did with all the scenes in it and it went to print and Michael was still in that editing room chopping away. The book tells a different story than the movie.


"It's a brand new book of the movie with every picture, every costume, location and the entire script so there are characters in there and scenes in there that didn't make the movie. It's really cool, a real collector's item, I guess." Click the Movie button below for more info:
