Terrence Howard's singing effort rejected

New York, Aug 22 (IANS) Actor Terrence Howard, who got rave reviews for his performance in "Crash" and "Hustle and Flow", was rejected by the audience when he performed his first ever live music gig.

The audience seemed indifferent to his singing with some going further to slam it mercilessly, reports tmz.com.

A cameraman said: "Some people should never quit their day job - Terrence Howard could not hit the proper notes as he butchered every song. A noted fact, the liquor sales went up that night in the club as the audience needed some type of distraction."

Howard was recently seen in the summer blockbuster "Iron Man".
