B'lore, Aug.11 (NR): Sexy siren Arati Chabbria has been on cloud nine after she saw the photo album of her recent Kannada film Rajani in which the actress is teamed up with Upendra. This film is produced by Ramu and directed by actor-stunt choreographer Thriller Manju.

"I was seeing some of the portions on the Monitor during the shootings and recently I saw the album. They were really mind blowing. I enjoyed working with Upendraji who is a big actor in the Kannada film industry. I am sure that even Rajini will be hugely successful as my previous film Santha in which I was paired with Shivaraj Kumar," says Arati Chabria who is now in Bangkok shooting for two songs of the film Rajani with Upendra.

Arati got a break with Ravichandran directed Aham Premasmi in which she was teamed up with Balaji. That was even before her first Hindi film had released. Then she worked in a few Telugu films, but her career did not take off in the Telugu film industry. She has seen success only in the Kannada film industry.

"I have been working with Kannada film industry's best known names so far. My two relesed films have been well made and have brought me lot of appreciation. I am confident of Rajani's big success also. I want to do more number of Kannada films, but some how the gaps have been longer. It is nearly two years since I last worked in Santha," says Arati.

Arati says that Kannada films are more story centric than Bollywood films. She has worked in successful Hindi films like Shootout At Lokhandwala which have mainly focused on technical expertise. "But I find that in the two Kannada films that I had acted, there was more scope for the story element even though I had to do glamorous roles. But in my third film Rajani, I have lot of scope for performance also. I think with the release of Rajani, the perception that I am suitable for only glamorous roles may change. There were many sequences in Rajani which required me to perform. I think I have done better in these critically important sequences of the film," says a confident Arati Chabria.

Explaining the long gaps in her signing Kannada films, the sizzling actress says that some of the offers did not excite her. "Rajani offer came to me after a big gap. I did get some projects, but they did not fall into place because of some critical factors like remuneration and the strength of my role. Despite the success of Santha, I was not able to capitalize on the fact that I was well received by the Kannada film audience. But now I would certainly concentrate more on Kannada films," says Arati. Click the Movie button below for more info:
