Bangalore, Dec 21 (IANS) Kamal Haasan's Kannada comeback film "Rama Shama Bhama" takes the top slot among this fortnight's films.

The top five films are:

1. "Rama Shama Bhama": The first week's collections of the film, which marks the return of Kamal Haasan to Kannada cinema after nearly two decades, is estimated to be Rs.6 million, way beyond expectations. Directed by Ramesh Arvind, the film is proving a laugh riot for audiences across Karnataka.

2. "Anna Thangi": Nothing succeeds like success. Shivaraj Kumar faced a string of flops before the release of "Jogi" and was labelled an unlucky star in the film industry. But the success of "Jogi" changed all such perceptions. The success of "Anna Thangi", where he plays the main lead, adds another feather in his cap.

3. "Amruthadhare": The film has completed a hundred days' run in many centres and is expected to complete a silver jubilee in Bangalore. The film's collections are expected to cross Rs.10 million just in Bangalore.

4 "Jogi": The film had created history. In its hundred-day run, the collections had surpassed those of many Kannada films that had run for over a year. But now the collections have started to drop a bit.

5 "Nenapirali": The film does not boast of a big-star cast, but is doing well for its technical qualities. The next few weeks are going to be crucial for it as many big-budget films are expected to hit the screen.
