Charmee does an item song for Rs. 25 lacs

Glamorous heroine Charmee was offered a remuneration of Rs. 25 lacs for her Kannada film 'Lava Kusha' in which she is paired with Upendra.


Charmee had two songs and a few sequences in the film and had participated for twenty days in the shooting of this Kannada films. But now the sexy siren is charging a cool Rs. 25 lacs for an item number in the Telugu film 'Bhale Dongalu' produced by Bellam Konda Suresh and directed by Vijaya Bhaskar.


The item number which is to be shot for three days from March 6th will be shot in a specially erected set in a Hyderabad Studio.



Bhale Dongalu is the remake of the Hindi film 'Bunty Aur Babli' in which Charmee is expected to dance to the Telugu version of the "Kajarare" song. While Aishwarya Rai did the item number in the Hindi film, the mantle of doing the same song in the Telugu remake has fallen on Charmee who has secured a whopper amount as remuneration.


Normally, Charmee charges around 20 to 25 lacs as remuneration for a film. Recently she had a mixed bag of fortune, as her recent film 'Sundara Kanda' was declared a colossal flop after the huge success of her film 'Manthra' in which she had played the title role.



The item song was initially offered to Nayanatara but she had declined the offer as she had recently signed a Rajnikanth starrer 'Kuchelan'.
