Bangalore, Sep 22 (IANS) The 'Jogi' wave is sweeping the audio market in Karnataka.

1. "Jogi": The sales of the album have kept up the same tempo even after the film's release. Over a million cassettes may be sold within six months of the release - a tribute to its music director Guru Kiran.

2. "Auto Shankar": The film starring Upendra and Shilpa Shetty has had a good opening. The audio sales were good even before the film's release, and Guru Kiran's album continues to do well. The title song "Naanu Auto Shankar", "Kachchi Kachchi Ninna Thinnala" and "Kabaddi Kabaddi" have become highly popular.

3. "Namma Basava": The audio cassette and CD of the Puneet Raj Kumar-starrer was out just a few days before the film's release Sep 9. The audio's success is due to Puneet's charisma and Guru Kiran's appeal.

4. "Amrutha Dhaare": The audio of Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar-directed "Amrutha Dhaare" with Dhyan and Ramya was released Aug 15. Initially, the response was not highly encouraging. But the telecast of songs on popular channels has made a difference. Mano Murthy, who scored music for "America America", "Preethi Prema Pranaya" and "Nanna Preethiya Hudugi", has composed some good tunes for the film including the title song and "Huduga Huduga".

5. "Deadly Soma": The audio cassette and CD sales of the Audithya-Rakshitha starrer have been good mainly because the film has proved to be a winner at the box office.
