Bangalore, Sep 8 (IANS) The collections of "Jogi" at the theatres and its audio sales have touched a new high. The top five Kannada film albums are:

1. "Jogi": The film, released on the Mahalakshmi festival Aug 19, has created new records and audio and CD sales continue to rise. The number of audio units sold is expected to exceed 400,000 soon.

2. "Auto Shankar": This film starring Upendra and Shilpa Shetty will be released this month along with the Puneet Raj Kumar-starrer "Namma Basava". Both are big-budget films.

Ramu Audio, which has brought out the album, says nearly 100,000 audiocassettes have been sold since Aug 7. The title song "Naanu Auto Shankar", "Kachchi kachchi ninna thinnala", "Kabaddi kabaddi" and "Lainu hodi" have become highly popular.

3. "Gauramma": The film will complete 100 days Sep 9. The audio sales have been satisfactory. They may, however, go down with the release of Upendra's new film "Auto Shankar".

4. "Deadly Soma": This Audithya-Rakshitha starrer is a surprise winner on the audio scene. The film's song sequences have created some interest among audio and CD buyers. "Usire, usire" is the most popular song of the film with music by Sadhu Kokila.

5 "Aaptha Mitra": The film has completed a year and its audio has been equally successful.
