Bangalore, March 23 (IANS) Like at the box office, "Mungaru Male" leads the list in the audio market as well. The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Mungaru Male" - No one can deny that the film's songs have been on the lips of most Kannada film fans. "Anisuthide", "Araluthiru" and "Mungaru maleye" have become so popular that the audio shops are just selling the albums like hot cakes. With the success of the album, music director Mano Murthy has become popular among young music lovers.

2. "Duniya" - No one expected the audio of the film to become such a huge hit, the reason being that music director V. Manohar hasn't scored any popular tunes in recent times and the hero was a fresh face. But songs like "Kaniya I love you" and "Saala maadi thuppa thinnu" have really struck a chord.

3. "Jothe Jotheyali" - Though the film has moved from the main theatres, it is performing satisfactorily at the B and C centres and is bankable fare. Its audios and CDs are moving fast from the shelves. This is Harikrishna's debut album and it has brought him loads of appreciation.

4. "Arasu" - The film has recently completed 50 days. Though the quality of songs has not met expectations, the audio is selling because of the pull of the film's hero Puneet Raj Kumar. Joshua Shridhar, who composed music for "Kadal", has scored for this film.

5. "Ekadantha" - The film has just been released, and the first reaction of the viewers is that the songs are pretty good. The audio sales had picked up even before the film's release. The Guru Kiran (composer) factor has helped the film, as his own rendering, "Bundle badayi", is the top number of the album.
