B'lore, June.22 (NR): Multilingual Actress Parathy who hails from Kerala has created a record of sorts by dubbing her own voice fluently in just her second Kannada film Male Barali Manju Irali. And she chose to speak in Kannada in the audio release function of the film held recently. As though this was not enough, she also sung a song from the film in the same function.

Parvathy feels that Male Barali Manju Irali which is her seventh film will be the best of the lot in her career. "The sequences, the locations, the songs and even my characterisation is superb. Male Barali Manju Irali is a feel good love story. We shot the major poritons of the film in the visually spectacular hilly region of Madikeri. The director wanted to shoot the sequences in rain. I can tell you that the audiences will have a feel of rain and mist when they watch this film. It has been an authentic picutrisation by Ms. Vijayalakshmi Singh," says Parvathy.

Her first Kannada film Milana ran for an year in the PVR Mutliplex in Bangalore and became the biggest hit of the year 2007. Even in the Malayalam film industry, Parvathy has made a mark in films like Note Book and Vinoda Yathra. According to the critics, Parvathy's first Tamil film Poo has showcased exceptional talents of the actress.

Male Barali Manju Irali, directed by actress Vijayalakshmi Singh has been shot in the hilly area of Madikeri and its peripheral areas surrounded by coffee estates.

Though many Kannada film producers have approached Parvathi with some good roles, the actress is proving to be very dicey. She is very choosy and prefers to do lesser number of good films than to work in many number of insignificant films. Click the Movie button below for more info:
