B'lore, Sep.6 (NR): Pooja Gandhi has been signing films one after the other. She is least worried about her co-star, but seems to be focusing mainly on the scope her character gets in the film.

To her luck, Pooja has been getting variety of roles, some of which she had not done before. One such film is Tavarina Runa directed by Ramesh Raju (who had directed the film Gang Leader earlier) launched recently where she is playing a weepy deglamourised girl's role. "This is a film where I will be weeping, being exploited by many people. The director told me that it has been long time since such films had released. I liked the story, I have not done anything like this before. I have got a nice role in this ladies oriented film. I am sure that the film is bound to succeed if he sticks to the narration," says Pooja. Pooja is being teamed with newcomer Paramesh in this film.

How does she feel acting in such a role when she has been acting in a number of films where she is featured in glamour oriented roles. "I am experimenting and trying to balance my choice of roles. I have taken up a role with negative shades in a film like Sri Hari directed by Dayal. In Minugu my role has lot of shades where the trials and tribulations in the life of a film actress are narrated. Another different role is in Gokula directed by Prakash, where my character can be easily identified as your next door girl," adds Pooja.
