Bangalore, Jan 8 (IANS) A song by actor Kamal Haasan sung in 'Hubli' accent in the film "Rama Shama Bhama" is the reason behind its album topping the charts this week.

The top five film albums are:

1. "Rama Shama Bhama": The fun film is big news in the Kannada industry and though it may not be the best of music director Guru Kiran, one song sung by actor Kamal Haasan in 'Hubli' accent has become a hit. The song "Jwaapaana Rathriyaythu" is rising in the popularity charts. The film's success is contributing to the success of the audio.

2. "Anna Thangi": Music maestro Hamsalekha has made a brilliant comeback with "Anna Thangi". Hamsalekha's lyrics are once again popular. The songs of the film have a lot of melody and melancholy. The sentimental film is a big hit and the audio and CD sales have taken a definite turn for the better.

3. "Vishnu Sene": The film's audio is selling because Vishnuvardhan, the film's hero, has sung the song titled "Abhimaanigale nanna praana", which has become one of the most popular songs of the album.

4. "Jogi": The phenomenal success of the 'Jogi' audio has set a new benchmark in the Kannada film industry. The songs of this film are now part of ring tone history, hugely popular even after six months. It is music director Guru Kiran's best album. The film is all set to complete 125 days but the craze for the audio has not lessened.

5. "Amruthadhaare": The film has completed 100 days here but it is the audio and CD sales of the film that is making news these days. Although the sales were a little slow in the beginning, it has picked up very well. The songs have become popular because of the tuneful lyrics by director Chandrasekhar Nagathihalli. "Huduga Huduga", "Nee Amruthadhaare" and "Manekatti Nodu" have occupied the top slot for some weeks now.
