B;lore, Sep.2 (NR): She is the heroine of two hugely awaited movies, but still Hudugaata Rekha does not say no to offers of item numbers in films.

Despite being paired with big heroes like Ganesh, Sudeep and others, Rekha's career in films is still to take off. Rekha had a good success rate in Kannada films and she could have continued here to make it big. But she chose to migrate to Telugu films after she was chosen as a heroine for the film Anandam by Usha Kiron Movies.

Rekha did get a good break in Anandam, but success has eluded her in the Telugu films since then. After Hudugaata became a hit, there were some rumours that Rekha would shift to Bangalore and concentrate on Kannada films. But that did not eventually happen.

Though Rekha who hails from Bangalore made her debut through Chitra directed by Dinesh Babu and followed with big films like Huchcha, Thuntaata and many others, she has been seen much less in Kannada films. She migrated to Mumbai a few years ago to take up modeling assignments and opportunities in Bollywood.

Now, this actress who has also done a few Telugu and Tamil films is concentrating only in Kannada films. Rekha's two hugely awaited films are Sanjay directed Parichaya in which she is teamed up with Tarun and Boss in which she plays one of the two heroines of Darshan. But she is also featured in a single sequence in films like Raaj, the Showman and she had done item dance numbers like in films Mast Majaa Maadi and Yogi.

Rekha expresses a huge level of confidence about her next release Parichaya. "The songs have already become a big hit. The picturisation of songs are superb. I have been a lucky heroine for director Sanjay. Our first film Hudugaata became a big hit. I am sure Parichaya which has a strong music content and a good script will also become a success. I am even now getting many congratulatory messages for my dance movements in the songs of the film," says Rekha. Click the Movie button below for more info:
