This will be something like the Hinglish film or Telurdu films that have been hitting screens from the last three years. An enterprising journalist Sandeep Malani who has now become a film director says his first directorial film "SMS 6260" which has an intense love story is a Kanglish film which has substantial portions of dialogues in English language. "It is not that there are no Kannada dialogues in the film. The dialogues are also in Kannada and it will also have the language and accent as it is spoken in Bangalore where there will be a mix of Kannada and English in the spoken language' says Malani.

Malani who had worked with some well known Bollywood directors and had co-directed a film "Miss California' which was made by some Kannadiga NRI's has taken Jahnu, a Kannadiga girl living in USA as the heroine. Diganth is the hero of this film the film is also produced by Jahnu and her father.

Jahnu had earlier acted in "Miss California' as one of the heroines of the film. She said working in a film like "SMS 6260" was a cool experience as she was able to be her owns self. "I was speaking in a language and accent known to me and it was easily the best thing for me to get the right emotions' said Jahnu.

Diganth said that the film was shot in a stretch of around 40 days in Coastal Mangalore and peripheries and he enjoyed working as a team. "There was no differentiation among the unit members. All of us worked without any hassles. Malani was the captain of the ship and he was always there to pat our back whenever we did something good. He would also chide us when we did some mistakes. It was great fun to work with this team' said Diganth.
