Bangalore, July 28 (IANS) The album of the movie "Sevathi Sevanthi", which will soon be completing 100 days, tops the charts this fortnight.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Sevanthi Sevanthi" - The folk songs of the film have become extremely popular and music director S.A. Raj Kumar has done a great job, despite not knowing the language. "Jaaji mallige hoovu" sung by hero Vijaya Raghavendra is the hit song of the album, which is followed by "Maayadhantha malebanthanna" and "Bhagyadha Balegaara".

2. "Kumara Rama" - Music director Guru Kiran has risen again like a phoenix. Whenever his ability to deliver hits appears suspect, he comes out with a big hit. He does it this time with "Kumara Rama", a historical film produced at a cost of over Rs.80 million. "Gini Rama", sung by Guru himself, is the top number of the album.

3. "Aishwarya" - The music of Upendra's new film "Aishwarya" has grabbed the interest of young audiences. All the songs are catchy and music director Rajesh Ramanath has worked wonders with entertaining numbers. The title song rendered by Kunal Ganjawala and "Ella ok maduve yaake" sung by Upendra have become big hits.

4. "Neenello Naanalle" - Many of the tunes of the album have been lifted from Telugu hit "Nuvvosthaananate Nenoddantaana". The songs have become popular, and now there is a huge publicity blitz for the film, which is to be released shortly.

5. "Mohini 9886788888" - The film's music by Hamsalekha has won laurels and director S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu has picturised the songs well too. "Ranga ranga dingara ranga" and "Preethiyalli naanu lucky kane" are the top songs of the album.
