Bangalore, July 28 (IANS) "Sevanthi Sevanthi", which will complete 100 days by the month end, stays the frontrunner among the Kannada films of the fortnight.

The top five Kannada films are:

1. "Sevanthi Sevanthi" - The film's success has once again proved director S. Narayan's competence and heroine Ramya's appeal. Actor Vijaya Raghavendra has staged a comeback with the movie.

2. "Datta" - The Darshan-Ramya starrer may not have achieved the anticipated degree of success, but it can still be termed as a hit. It will be completing 50 days in leading centres like Bangalore, Mysore, Hubli and Davangere.

3. "Tirupati" - The action film had a huge opening. Sudeep, the toast of the trade after the success of "My Autograph", has proved that he too can pull crowds in the initial week of his film's release.

4. "My Autograph" - Three cheers for actor Sudeep, who chose to do a tough remake and still succeeded at the box office. He chose a subject that did not suit his action-hero image, but it worked. "My Autograph" based on Tamil hit "Autograph" will be completing a silver jubilee run in Bangalore soon.

5. "Chellaata" - This film, released along with "Sevanthi Sevanthi", will soon be completing 100 days in Bangalore. The film's success has taken actor Ganesh to stardom.
