Bangalore, Aug 24 (IANS) "Sevanthi Sevanthi", which has completed 100 days in major centres, is the leading Kannada film of the fortnight.

The top five Kannada films are:

1. "Sevanthi Sevanthi" - The film's success has been a big boost to the stature of its director S. Narayan and has done wonders for the careers of Vijaya Raghavendra and Ramya.

2. "Mohini 9886788888" - The film's extraordinary collections in the first week are attributed to the weeklong holidays, including Independence Day and Janmashtami. The film, starring Audithya and directed by S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu, collected around Rs.5 million in the first week in Bangalore city alone.

3. "Neenello Naanalle" - The film's collections have not declined appreciably even in its fourth week. Since the film has a lot of commercial elements, it may do well in the rural and semi-urban centres where it will hit theatres during the Ganesha festival.

4. "Ganda Hendathi" - The remake of the Hindi hit "Murder" has an 'A' certificate. Though family audiences are shunning the film, it is getting good response from youngsters.

5. "Honeymoon Express" - Jaggesh and S. Narayan may be middle-aged heroes, but their combination has clicked. The film is doing well in Bangalore and some other centres.
