Bangalore, Nov 18 (IANS) "Sirivantha", which has completed 50 days in many centres, currently leads the race among Kannada films.

The top five Kannada films are:

1. "Sirivantha" - The film starring Vishnuvardhan did not open to a great response but it has proved to be a big draw for family audiences. However, it is difficult to say whether it will become the year's biggest hit.

2. "Jothe Jotheyalli" - The film has become a big box-office bonanza for producer-actor Darshan and its success has strengthened distributors' faith in him. It is a super-hit in Bangalore and in Mysore, the collections have surpassed all expectations.

3. "Hubballi" - An action film featuring Sudeep has been released after a long time and the opening collections have been fantastic. The youngsters in particular have responded well to the film.

4. "Aishwarya" - Model Deepika Padukone's first film, which has Upendra in the male lead, is into its 10th week and the collections in urban centres continue to be satisfactory.

5. "Rambha" - The 'A' certificate and highly attractive posters have been responsible for its good collections.
