12 Malayalam films selected for foreign festivals

Twelve Malayalam films which were part of the package shown at the International Film Festival of Kerala last year, have been selected for various international festivals, State Culture Minister A P Anil Kumar, said today.

The films are Neelakkuyil (1954), Chemmeen (1965), Olavum Theeravum (1969), Swayamvaram (1972), Nirmalyam (1973), Thambu (1978), Oridathoru Phayalvan (1981), My Dear Kuttichathan (1984), Amma Ariyan (1986), Vanaprastham (1999), Margam (2003) and Padam Onnu: Oru Vilapam (2003).
