A sequel to 'Kannur' being planned!

Cochin, July.7 (NR): Remember 'Kannur'? The film that was directed by Haridas Kesavan that had Manoj K Jayan and Vani Viswanath in lead roles was a political thriller that hit the screens back in 1997.

Manoj K Jayan had played the role of Karivallur Sivankutty, a comrade from Kannur in the film.

Now news has streamed in that Haridas Kesavan and Robin Thirumala are planning to prepare a sequel to the film.

Titled 'Kannur Veendum', the film would again have Manoj K Jayan in the chief role and would be shot on locations at Kannur, Trivandrum and New Delhi.

Vani Viswanath would also be seen in a major role in the film. Vijayaraghavan, Bheeman Raghu, Vijayakumar, Mamukkoya and Risabava would be seen in the sequel as well.
