'Adaminte Makan Abu' director accused of plagiarism

Cochin, May.25 (NR): Seems like 'Adaminte Makan Abu' is further headed for troubled waters.

Barely a few days after a Kozhikode court stayed its release, following a petition by the film's co-producer, a serial director has alleged that Salim Ahmed has plagiarized his work.

Abbas Kalathod, the serial director, says that he plans to tale legal action against the film film's director and producer.

Abbas says that the film is a copy of his own short film 'Maruppacha', that was shot eight years back. He also feels that the song 'Mecca' in the film, is a copy.

The director Salim Ahmed is yet to react to the new controversy surrounding the film.
