Adoor Pankajam is no more!

Adoor, June.26 (NR: Adoor Pankajam, the actress who had acted in several Malayalam films is no more. She passed away today evening.

She hails from Adoor in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala state. She had done plenty of supporting roles and had exhibited her talent as a comedian as well. Her sister Adoor Bhavani was also a Malayalam cinema actress, who had passed away recently.

Pankajam's most noted performance was in the national award winning film Chemmeen. In 2008, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy honoured Pankajam and Bhavani for their overall contributions to theatre and drama.
