Amal Neerad rubbishes 'Mrugaya' remake rumours

Cochin, Dec.16 (NR): Director Amal Neerad has rubbished rumours that he plans to remake 'Mrugaya' in Tamil, with Surya in the lead.

He said that while its true that he plans to do a film with Surya in the near future, it would not be a remake of the Malayalam hit.

He also said that stories regarding his planning a sequel to 'Samrajyam' under the title 'Son of Alexander' are totally baseless. Instead he would like to a do a film with Mammootty based on a new story, the director added.
