Ambika turns director!

Cochin, Nov.8 (NR): Ambika, the actress who had ruled South Indian films during the eighties would soon turn director.

Ambika, who had made a comeback to films a few years back was seen in several Malayalam films in mother roles. She was last seen playing Kunchacko Boban's mom in the recently released 'Four Friends'.

Ambika would direct a bilingual film in Malayalam and Tamil.

The film to be produced by South Indian Media has not been named yet. A formal announcement would be made in December.
