'Amen': The love story of a sacristan

Lijo Jose Pallissery’s forthcoming movie ‘Amen’ is the love story of a sacristan. Fahad, who made an image makeover through ‘Friday’, does the lead role.

Scripted by P S Rafeeq, the movie is set against the backdrop of Alappuzha. The story revolves round the lives of people living near an ancient church and the romance of the sexton.

It was with ‘Friday’, that Fahad was able to come out of his clichéd role of the metropolitan youth. He played an ordinary auto driver in the movie.

Indrajith also appears in an important role in ‘Amen’ as the friend of Fahad. ‘Subhramanyapuram’ fame Swathi plays Fahad’s lady love. Prashant Pilla will set tunes for the songs of ‘Amen’.
