Another Mammootty v/s Mohanal combat due on April.30

Cochin, Mar.17 (NR): Come, April.30 and cinema theatres across the state will get ready to stage a royal combat between the Big M's of Malluwood yet again.

Mammootty's 'Pokkiri Raja' and Mohanlal's 'Christian Brothers' would have a release on the same day.

There have been several instances before when the Big M's have had same day releases. it was during Christmas last year, that both the Megastars had major releases - 'Chattambi Nadu' and 'Ividam Swargamanu'. Both were declared superhits as well.

Mammootty's 'Pokkiri Raja' has the megastar joining hands with Young Superstar Prithviraj and has the glamor queen Shreya Sharan making her debut in Malayalam. Directed by debutante director Vaisakh, this is expected to be a colorful entertainer that would keep fans clapping away to glory.

'Christian Brothers' on the other hand is directed by Joshey, who has managed to maintain an impressive track record, when it comes to delivering hits. And it has a major starcast that boasts of screen titans as Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep and Sarath Kumar along with Laxmi Rai, Kaniha and Kavya Madhavan.

It might be just a coincidence that both these films have been scripted by the script writer duo Siby K Thomas and Uday Krishna. We would have to wait till the 30th of April to find out which film of the two would emerge the winner at the box office. Click the Movie button below for more info:
