Anwar Rasheed signs up Prithvi for 'Vei Raja Vei'

Cochin, Mar.23 (NR): There are very few directors in Malayalam today who have an impressive track record as Anwar Rasheed. Anward had directed three commercial potboilers - 'Rajamanickyam', 'Chota Mumbai' and 'Annan Thambi' - all three of which had been blockbusters at the box office.

Besides these films, Anwar also threw another surprise at the viewers by directing the short film 'Bridge' in the Kerala cafe anthology that had stunned the viewers with its theme and visual appeal.

Young star Prithviraj on the other hand, has been on the look out for a super hit in his career, that could further establish his star status. His latest film 'Thanthonni' is evoking mixed response from the audience.

The news is that the super hit director has signed up the young superstar for his next film tentatively titled as 'Vei Raja Vei'.

To be scripted by Benny P Nayaramblam, 'Vei Raja Vei' would be a pucca entertainer, with plenty of action and comedy throughout. Let's wait and see if Anwar would be able to generate that much needed blockbuster in Prithvi's career with 'Vei Raja Vei'.
