Arun gains from Prithviraj's loss

Arun of "4 the People" fame has replaced Prithviraj in Siby Malayil's forthcoming Malayalam film "Amritham" co-starring Bhavana.

Arun is playing Jayaram's younger brother in the film and opted out of a Tamil film to essay the role.

There are rumours of senior actors boycotting Prithviraj for going against the Artistes' Association when it was at loggerheads with producers a few months ago. In other words, he is unofficially banned.

Arun debuted in 2000 in a film by Fazil, with superstar Mohanlal in the lead. Audiences though remember him for "4 the People".
