Bala to lead in 'Shivapuram'

Thiruvananthapuram, April.28 (NR): Unni Pranav (also known as Unni Attingal), who had earlier been an assistant to Director Shaji Kailas, turns independent with 'Sivapuram', to be produced by M. Nazar and M. Anzar under the banner of United Films, with Bala in the lead.

The Pooja for the film was held on April 23rd at the Kalabhavan Theatres in Thiruvananthapuram and was attended by prominent personalities including Minister C. Divakaran, Mankode Radhakrishnan, Sampath, Madhupal, Dinesh Panicker, Kollam Thulasi, T.S. Suresh Babu etc.

Sivapuram will also have 'Kakka' Ravi, Rajendran, Biju Menon, Salim Kumar, Guinness Pakru (Undapakru), Mamookoya, Vimal Raj, Sreejith Ravi etc. in the cast. The film, which will feature script by K.V. Anil, will have cinematography by Lal Kannan (who did the camera work for 'Chithrashalabhangalude Veedu'), lyrics by Anil Panachooran, Jofi Tharakan and Balachandran and music by Shan.

The film which reportedly is a family oriented one with a considerable amount of action as well will commence shoot in May in Thodupuzha.
