Bharathan's 'Nidra' to be remade by son Siddharth

Cochin, Nov.12 (NR): Bharathan's son Siddharth would remake his late father's remarkable work 'Nidra'.

'Nidra' had Vijay Menon and Santhi Krishna in the lead roles.

Vinu Kiriyath would script the remake. A major Tamil actor is expected to don the main role. Venugopal would handle the cinematography.

Siddharth who had made his acting debut through Kamal's 'Nammal' had been planning to turn to direction for a while. He had planned a film titled 'Mithram' with Asif Ali and Sruthi Menon, but which never took off.

It was also rumoured that Siddharth was planning to remake 'Bhargavi Nilayam'.
