Blessy scripts film on Padmarajan's story

Kochi, March 18 (IANS) Malayalam director Blessy is currently scripting a film based on a short story by his mentor Padmarajan to star mega star Mohanlal.

Blessy had made a successful debut last year with Mammotty-starrer "Kazhcha", about a Gujarati boy who found his way to a family in Kerala after the devastating earthquake there.

He was thinking of making a Tamil-adaptation, starring Vikram, using a similar story revolving around the tsunami. But somehow, things did not work out.
