'Calcutta News' – Blessy's next

Blessy has named his next film 'Calcutta News', to be produced by Thambi Antony under the banner of Kayal Films. With Dileep and Meera Jasmine in lead roles, Calcutta News will take us into the life of a television programme producer. The film will focus on the events that happen in the life of the protagonist in the span of one year. It's Dileep who is to play the role of the television programme producer.

Set in Kolkata, the film will also have in the cast Indrajith, Bindu Panicker, Innocent and some actors from West Bengal. S. Kumar will wield the camera for Calcutta News, which will start rolling in the first week of June in Kolkata. Here's hoping the director lives up to the expectations that his three earlier films, namely Kaazhcha, Thanmathra and Palunku have raised. All the best, Blessy.
