Calicut University to confer honorary D.Litt on Mammootty

Calicut, Dec.21 (NR): The University of Calicut has decided to confer an honorary D.Litt on Megastar Mammootty.

The University had decided to grant this academic honor to the actor taking into consideration his contributions to the field of art. Mammootty is the first actor to receive such an academic honor from this University.

The University of Kerala had earlier conferred and honorary doctorate to the actor.
