Cast of 'Samrajyam 2' to be announced on October 5

The cast of the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Samrajyam’ titled ‘Samrajyam 2 – Son of Alexander’ will be announced officially on October 5 in Dubai. The film is the debut Malayalam venture of the renowned Tamil director Perarasu.

‘Samrajyam’ was a gangster film of 1990 which centers around the story of a drug dealer and underworld don. Directed by Jomon, the film casts Mammootty as the underworld don.

The grapevine is that Vijay or Vikram is likely to be the hero in ‘Samrajyam 2’. Produced by Ajmal Hassan and Baiju Adithya, the film is expected to hit the theatres during Christmas.
