Kochi, Dec 12 (IANS) The song "Chandamama" from the box-office hit "Rock n Roll" continues to top the Malayalam charts. The top five songs are:

1. "Chandamama": Film: "Rock n Roll". Music: Vidyasagar. Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry. Singers: Anitha and Rija. The song is shot as a mixture of music videos. With scenes quickening the narrative flow of the story, this peppy song stays on top.

2. "Chocolate": Film: "Chocolate". Music: Alex Paul. Lyrics: Sarath Varma. Singers: M.G. Sreekumar and Rimi Tomi. This is a typical campus song with lyrics that hardly make any sense. But it has verve and energy and is still popular.

3. "Valayamitha": Film: "Rock n Roll". Music: Vidyasagar. Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry. Singer: Vijay Yesudas, Renjith, Pradeep Palluruthy and Geemon. A song depicting the bonhomie of friendship, it is a foot-tapping folk tune.

4. "Munthirikallu": Film: "Black Cat". Music: M. Jayachandran. Lyrics: Rajeev Alunkal. Singer: Afsal. This song of celebration still holds on to its place in this list.

5. "Ishtamalle": "Chocolate". Music: Alex Paul. Lyrics: Sarath Varma. Singer: Shahabas Aman. As compulsory as romance is music in a campus story, and this song fulfils the vital requirement.
