Cinematographer Vipin Das will be dearly missed!

Wayanad, Feb.12 (NR): Renowned cinematographer Vipin Das is no more. He passed away today at the Thaluk hospital at Vaithiri.

Vipin was at Wayanad, in connection with the shoot of a documentary, when he felt chest pain, and was admitted to the hospital.

Vipin Das was a very busy cinematographer in Malayalam films, and had worked with both commercial and art film directors.

Of the several films for which he had wielded the camera, P A Becker's 'Manimuzhakkam', Padmarajan's 'Oridathoru Phayalaman', and K Madhu's 'Oru CBI Diarykurippu' and 'Irupatham Noottandu' deserve special mention.

After being cinematographer for about two hundred and fifty films, Vipin gradually withdrew from the film industry.

The gifted technician would be dearly missed.
