Cinemax opens its first multiplex in Kerala at Kochi

Cochin, Apr.3 (NR): Its time for cinema lovers in the state to rejoice. Cinemax has opened a multiplex, the first of its kind in Kerala at Cochin.


The Cinemax multiplex at Oberon mall at Edapally was inaugurated today by dashing young star Prithviraj. The multiplex would have four screens.


Situated on the fourth floor of Oberon mall, the multiplex has ample seat capacity. Screen One has 159, Screen Two has 117, Screen Three has 168 and Screen Four has 177 seats respectively.


The first film to be screened at the multiplex was Prithviraj's 'Thanthonni'. The theatres equipped with the latest technology have tickets ranging from eighty to two hundred and fifty rupees. With an enthusiastic start having been made at Kochi, the mutiplex cinema culture is expected to spread soon to other cities in the state as well.
