Cycle set to roll in october first week

Cycle, directed by Johnny Antony and scripted by Classmates fame James Albert, is all set to roll in the first week of October. The film, being produced by Thilakan Thandasseri, Sunny Kuruvila and Viswanathan Nair under the banner of Masters Cinema, sees Vineeth Sreenivasan, popular young singer and son of actor-scenarist-director Sreenivasan, making his debut as an actor.


Giving Vineeth company in the lead roles are Vinu Mohan (who recently made his debut with Nivedhyam), Bhama (who too made her debut with Nivedhyam) and Kathal Sandhya (who had earlier acted in Malayalam in Sibi Malayil's Alice in Wonderland and in Ranjith's Prajapathy). The film, which has also Saikumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Murali, Cochin Haneefa, T.G. Ravi, Anoop Chandran etc in the cast, will be shot in Ernakulam and Thrissur and will feature lyrics by Anil Panachooran (of Arabikatha fame), music by Mejo Joseph (of Notebook fame), cinematography by Shaji, art-direction by Saloo K. George and editing by Ranjan Abraham.


Cycle tells an interesting story with a big shopping mall as the backdrop. Roy (Vineeth Sreenivasan) is the cashier with Kausthubhan Financiers, a 'Blade Company' that operates from within the shopping mall. Sanju (Vinu Mohan) is a salesman in an electronic shop in the mall. Annie (Bhama) works in a travel agency in the mall. Meenakshi (Sandhya) is the daughter of the proprietor of Kausthubhan Financiers. They all find that their lives take a new twist on a New Year's Eve.
