Dileep - K. Madhu team up for the first time
Oct 8, 2007 NRActor Dileep and hitmaking-director K. Madhu are all set to team up for the first time. This is a combination that one would little expect. While Dileep is seen as an actor who specializes in doing light, humour oriented films targeted at the family audience and kids, K. Madhu is one who has always been doing racy investigative thrillers, and it wouldn't even be unfair to say that for most of the viewers Dileep wouldn't even seem to fit into a K. Madhu film.
It looks like the unexpected is going to happen. K. Madhu has reportedly decided to cast Dileep in the lead role in his forthcoming film, to be titled Chandanakallan. The film will be scripted by Udayakrishna and Sibi K. Thomas and this itself seems to hint that Chandanakallan would be something in-between - a hybrid between a typical Dileep film and a typical K. Madhu film, with action being laced with humour so as to do good for the director as well as the actor and their respective fans too. Though details are yet to be divulged, it is learnt that the film will take off early in 2008. Dileep meanwhile is busy with Calcutta News¸ after which he will do Rajasenan's Romeo.
