Director Biju Varkey attacked!

Perumbavoor, Mar.29 (NR): Director Biju Varkey was admitted to the hospital yesterday with injuries, after being attacked by a group of men.

Biju was beaten up by these men at around 7.30 in the evening at a lodge at Perumbavoor yesterday. Biju has been admitted to a private hospital and has suffered a fracture on his left leg.

Biju was involved with the script work of a film of his friend Snehajith. A group of people who said they wanted to meet Biju had arrived at the lodge and had created the ruckus, a prominent Malayalam daily reported.

Biju Varkey had directed films like Devadasi, Phantom, Chandranilekkulla Vazhi and Orange.
