'Film Makers Forum...' launched by Lenin Rajendran and team

Cochin, June.13 (NR): It seems to be raining associations in Malayalam films.

Following AMMA, FEFCA and MACTA, now another forum named Film Makers Forum for Better Films' has been launched with director Lenin Rajendran as its Chairman.

T V Chandran, Sasi Paravoor, K P Kumaran and Dr.Biju are the other chief representatives of the forum.

The people behind the forum claim that it will serve as a platform for parallel film makers to meet and discuss their issues.

The forum says that even as several discussions are being made at the government level to save cinema, not much is being discussed about the severe crisis through which parallel cinema is passing through.

They also demanded that the government should give a subsidy of twenty lakhs to films that have high artistic value.
