Girish Puthenchery hospitalised

Kozhikode, Feb.9 (NR): Renowned lyricist Girish Puthenchery has been admitted to the MIMS Hospital in Kozhikode, following a brain related illness.

According to unconfirmed reports from the hospital, his condition is believed to be critical.

Besides writing the lyrics of several hit songs for the last several years, Girish has also scripted films like 'Vadakkunnathan' and 'Pallavoor Devanarayanan'.

He is currently scripting a film by the name of 'Raman Police' in which Mohanlal is expected to play the lead role.
