Cochin, Mar.27 (NR): Jayasurya who is currently basking in the success of his film 'Happy Husbands' is a much more confident man today than he was a few years back.

The young actor in an interview to a prominent daily said that he has changed a lot, and is a very different man today.

"Lots of changes have occurred in my acting, behavior and my life situations over the last few years. I have broken down the belief that only comedy roles suit me, and can readily and confidently accept a variety of roles today."

Jayasurya points out two characters - Ashtamurthi in 'Swapnakoodu' and Ramu in 'Patham Nilayile Theevandi' - as examples of this metamorphosis.

Jayasurya is also very much excited about acting in T V Chandran's next film. "If T V Chandran sir offers me a role, he must have found some potential in me. And for me, the invitation to act in his film is infinitely more important than money."

"I always encourage new comers and debutante directors. This is because I know the misery behind the struggle. My only condition to them is that they should have a script and a story that pose a challenge before me as an actor," Jayasurya said. Click the Movie button below for more info:
