I didn't make 'Indian Rupee' to salvage Prithvi's career: Ranjith

Cochin, Oct.17 (NR): Director Ranjith, whose new film 'Indian Rupee' has been much acclaimed, says that he did not create the film to salvage Prithvi's career.

Ranjith was interacting with a prominent TV channel when he made the revelation.

"I had not intention whatsoever to transform Prithvi's image through my film. But I do have faith in Prithvi the actor. And I was sure that he could do justice to the character of JP," says Ranjith.
