I.V.Sasi gets ready with 'Vellathooval'

Trivandrum, March.26 (NR): I.V.Sasi, who once was one of the most prolific and most versatile of commercial film-makers in Malayalam, has not been very active for some time.

The director, who was once in the big league of directors in Mollywood, is now getting ready with 'Vellathooval', a low-budget love story.

'Vellathooval', produced by Raju C.M under the banner of Anugraha Arts, has 'Goal' fame Rejith Menon and Nithya (noted for her performance in 'Akashagopuram') in the lead roles. The film also has in key roles Vijayaraghavan, Seetha, Laloo Aalex, Jagathy Sreekumar, Ganesh Kumar, Seema, Sithara, Sreelatha, Kalabhavan Shajon, Ambika Mohan etc. Scripted by John Paul, 'Vellathooval' features songs by the Gireesh Puthencherry-Johnson team and has Kochi, Wagamon and Peerumedu as the prime locations.
