'Indian Rupee' is a prequel to 'Pranchiyettan': Ranjith

Cochin, July.12 (NR): Director Ranjith who has just started shooting for his new film 'Indian Rupee' starring Prithviraj, says that the film is a prequel to the much discussed 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'.

"While Pranchiyettan was a rich man who was fleeing after fame and honour, the hero of Indian Rupee considers money as everything in his life. In that sense, the film is a prequel to Pranchiyettan," says the director.

Suresh Gopi, Jagathy, Lalu Alex, Thilakan and Salim Kumar would do key roles in the film. Reema Kallingal is the heroine. Click the Movie button below for more info:
