Is 'Nayika' inspired by Sreevidya's life?

Cochin, Jan.13 (NR): It hasn't been long since Ranjith made the remarkable 'Thirakkatha' that was loosely based on Sreevidya's life.

The director had later clarified that his film had nothing to do with the life of the actress.

However, now it seems that another film is being made based on the life of the much loved actress. Jayaraj's 'Nayika' that stars Sarada in the lead role is also reportedly based on Sreevidya's life.

Deedi Damodaran has penned the script of the film. The film would also have Madhu, Jayaram and Sabitha Jayaraj doing key roles. Click the Movie button below for more info:
