It's good that Lal and I went our separate ways: Siddique

Cochin, Oct.14 (NR): Director Siddique whose Hindi film 'Bodyguard' is rewriting box office history in Bollywood says that though the Siddique-Lal combo has created many hits in Malayalam, he is glad that they went their separate ways after a while.

Siddique says that their separation has in fact had good results, because Malayalam was gifted with a talented actor - Lal.

"They are very professional in Bollywood. Their marketing ploys have to be studied and imitated down here. They keep friendship and cinema apart, which is very important," added Siddique.
