Jayaram to star in Akbar's Veruthe Oru Bhaarya

Jayaram will be doing the lead role in Veruthe Oru Bhaarya, to be directed by Akbar of the Akbar-Jose duo (who had directed Mazhathullikilukkam and Sadanandante Samayam). The film, to be produced by Salauddin under the banner of Cinema Kottaka, will feature script by K. Gireesh Kumar (the writer of Amritham and Alice in Wonderland).

It is reported that Akbar would be directing the film in the name of Akku Akbar and that the film will most likely start rolling by February next year. Veruthe Oru Bhaarya, a light kind of entertainer, follows Akku Akbar's first independent film Gouri, produced by Shogun Films. Though Gouri is yet to be released, it is learnt that the director has already started making moves for the shoot for Veruthe Oru Bhaarya, more details regarding which are yet to be divulged.
